A BRIERLEY Hill care home has been given another rating of ‘requires improvement’ from the CQC.

Amberley Care Home was given a new rating on May 30 after a recent inspection – prompted by the death of a resident.

The care home, in Stourbridge Road, has had a ‘requires improvement’ rating since 2018.

The FBI discovered stolen human remains, including skulls, spinal cords and organs, inside the home of a Kentucky man who was using some of the body parts as furniture.

Federal authorities raided the apartment of 39-year-old James William Nott in Mount Washington, Ky., on Tuesday morning.

WAVE News, which first broke the story, reported that when FBI agents arrived at Nott’s residence, they asked if anyone else was inside the home. Nott replied, “Only my dead friends,” according to an FBI complaint.

MOUNT WASHINGTON, Ky. (WFLA) – A Kentucky man was arrested Tuesday after an FBI raid led to the discovery of dozens of human remains and skulls being used as “decorations” around the man’s home, authorities said.

According to a press release, James Nott, 40, of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, was being investigated by the FBI in connection with a search for firearms and trafficked human remains.

The cartoon murals which appeared at a reception centre for small boats arrivals in Kent were not the “requisite decoration”, a Home Office minister has said. 

Minister for migration and borders Lord Murray of Blidworth said the cartoons, which were painted over at the facility in Dover on the order of immigration minister Robert Jenrick, were “not approved by the Home Office”.

The cartoons included pictures of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, as well as Tom and Jerry. They were removed on Tuesday last week, as first reported by the i newspaper.

A Kentucky man was arrested Tuesday after an FBI raid led to the discovery of dozens of human remains and as many as 40 skulls being used as “decorations” around the man’s home, according to authorities.
